EIC Pre-Accelerator “DropletFactory"
The project supports finishing development of our DropletFactory platform: an ultra-fast droplet-assisted microbial screening solution, which is more energy-efficient and more affordable on the entry level than any existing system, empowering biotech SMEs to scale to biomanufacturing faster. We had a dream, this project opens the way.

Industry project
This project supported end-to-end workflow validation of our CORE facility, located at our TalTech lab, in sorting engineered yeast variants in droplets at ultra-high throughput. The project was contracted by TFTAK AS through TalTech, before we spun off from the university.

EIC Pathfinder “3D-BRICKS"
“3D-BRICKS” is a highly ambitious nanoelectronics project, in which our role is to develop precision droplet sorting and apply it to sorting DNA origami + single-walled carbon nanotube (CNT) nanostructures. The sorting platform we built has found customers outside the project as well.
